About
The Bounce is an ergonomic sitting object designed in 2019 and which have been part my studies since then. The product is really simple and features a balanced gymnic as core support and which presents different lining covers that helps to style the object. Over the years we were able to improve the product features and launch and sell a series of special editions and collaborations.

Project Challenges
Over the past years, my research has been dedicated to understanding how objects contribute to our living environments. I began by studying the Swiss Ball, an element that’s frequently underestimated within the design field. The Swiss Ball is a perfect example of the design principle “form follows function” combining a simple spherical form with some distinctive ergonomic features, making it an interesting object to work with.
The main challenge of this project was overcoming the perception that users and the market have of this object, which is often seen as just a "gym tool" and rarely found in living spaces like a living room or bedroom. The product required significant rebranding and repositioning to create a new narrative around it.

My goal was to enhance the aesthetic and perceptual qualities of an object that initially appears very simple, adding elements that enrich the overall user experience. Starting with the development of a dedicated branding concept called "Bounce," we meticulously designed every detail of the product—from the choice of fabrics for the covers to the packaging, the labelling and the inflation instructions. The result is a product that, while simple , is thoughtfully crafted, blending a balanced between minimal aesthetic and rich in illustrations, featuring a playful design.
