Project Challenges
During the Villa Collalto website project, one of the primary challenges was ensuring that the new design effectively conveyed the property's luxurious essence while maintaining the charm of its Tuscan heritage. Balancing modern UI elements with traditional aesthetics required careful selection of visuals, fonts, and color schemes. Additionally, translating the client’s vision into a digital experience that appealed to an international audience posed another challenge. There was also the technical complexity of integrating advanced features without compromising website performance, especially considering the diverse range of devices used by potential guests. Each of these challenges demanded close collaboration with the client and iterative refinements to achieve the desired outcome
Roles & Solutions
In my role as the project lead for the Villa Collalto website, I took on multiple responsibilities to ensure the project's success. I spearheaded the UI/UX design process, meticulously curating a blend of modern luxury and traditional Tuscan elements to align with the client's vision. To address the challenge of appealing to a global audience, I conducted market research and incorporated multilingual support. I also collaborated closely with developers to implement advanced features while optimizing site performance across all devices. Regular communication with the client was key, allowing for agile adjustments and ensuring the final product exceeded expectations.
